King's Hotel Center Superior

Very good value for money. Room and bathroom were nice, with enough space for everything and usual amenities fof 4* hotel like mini fridge and safe. Two free bottles of water every day. Free coffee and tea in a small, but cute lobby, that also serves drinks in the evening. You can opt for 10 euros voucher instead of one day room cleaning and use it for breakfast or drinks in the lobby. Location is extremely convenient for exploting the city and surroundings - only couple of minutes walk from the Central train station, but the immediate neighbourhood felt safe, with many shops, food places and bars. Transport to city centre is very easy with tram or metro (U- and S-bahn) and 40 mins away from the airport with S-Bahn. Walk to city centre is about 20 min.

I thought the cosy, compact lobby, room & other facilities such as little ironing room & downstairs coffee area were well put-together & created positive feelings in winter. The hotel represents excellent balance between fulfilling needs, and avoiding items many guests may not need - saving space. No kettle in room --> but always proper coffee downstairs, better than instant. Optimal. Staff mostly made this experience. The front desk care about their job & are active in improving anything they can for guests. The people working here reflect well on the hotel. Their spoken English is generally outstanding - not a surprise necessarily, however worth noting.

Very nice room, near the metro station but also near the center of Munich. The metro station is about 3 minutes walk. The station is about 20 minutes walk. Also the metro station is the central of Munich which means you can go almost everywhere! Furthermore buses are starting their route from outside the metro station. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Wi-Fi was available and two bottles of water were waiting for us in a mini fridge. The bathroom was also very clean with all the comforts. Definitely a great choice for accommodation.

The gentleman at the reception was incredibly kind and kept us well informed from the start of check-in, and he remembered our early check-in request and was able to arrange 3 rooms so we had more time to explore the city. After check-in, free tea/coffee and fruits awaited us in the relaxation area next to the reception. It was beyond expectations! The location is within walking distance of the train station, making it ideal for budget travelers from Memmingen, as well as those who don't mind a little walk to the old town. Taxi (Uber mostly) always took me to the Hoffbrau beer house for around 10-13 euros, so the distances are acceptable. The breakfast was varied, so during our 3-day stay we were always able to have something different for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage + hot dogs + soup, various cold cuts and cheeses, assorted vegetables, several types of bread and fruits, croissants, the best nutella, etc. etc.

Located very close to the main station was for us ideal as we travelling from there next day. The tram stop is only a few yards away and the 21 takes you directly to the town centre at Marienplatz. Richard, the receptionist, went out of his way to welcome us, help with the new computerised check in and to assist brilliantly with any questions. He was able to offer me early check in as soon as a room became available and as the hotel was not busy offered an upgrade. The room was large and comfortable with large double bed. Complimentary water (chilled ) was available and Wi-Fi was excellent. The room was easily accessible by lift.
